We finally ventured out to the plateau. How peaceful.

I Love our blue shadows. We tried to get lost...away from any freeways and came across this plateau reserve. Filled with wildlife and sounds of the great outdoors, it gave us a moment of peace and adventure. It is in between rainy seasons, leaving massive meadows instead of bodies of water. Coyotes and mule deer find homes here as well as tarantulas and rattle snakes. So many birds flew over us, looking for a drink...or perhaps migrating to or from. My favorite part was looking over the hillside and seeing the nothing-ness ahead. Our perspectives were really thrown off when we saw how far we had hiked. Two hours later it was time to head back home and warm our noses.

About Me

My photo
I am living in southern California with my hubby and cutest pup. Through our travels across country, we take many photos and enjoy capturing God's beauty around us in people, places, and things we meet along the way. There is no greater joy of mine than to worship in the midst of His creation and share it with loved ones.
